Sales & Marketing Executive, Dan Turner, is a man of hidden depths. He’s just at home learning the Cornish language and helping male mental health charities as he is overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
From account and client success management to a love of communicating and building relationships with people, Dan’s combining all the experience in his career to date to push Jarrang’s marketing to the next level.
Having worked with brands like Pepsi Co, Riverford Organic, and Timpson Group, Dan understands what it takes to communicate the right message, to the right people, at the right time. And he thinks there’s no better time to be working in the email marketing industry.
“Email marketing is constantly evolving and it’s incredible to see how the boundaries of it are always being pushed – something that happens every week at Jarrang,” he says. “It feels like the industry is at a turning point. The rules are changing and we’re able to do things within an email that simply wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago. And I think that for me, because I’m a bit of a tech head, it’s really exciting to think about what we can do next.”
Dan’s responsible for implementing Jarrang’s marketing strategies alongside making sure the world knows (and sees!) the expertise and passion that exude from the team.
“Everyone here is great,” he says. “We all know our stuff and the whole team does an amazing job. My role is to shout about it to everyone.”
Away from the office, Dan doesn’t stop and is involved in some amazing projects.
As well as currently learning the Cornish language and doing voluntary work with the charity, Man Down – Dan’s a keen wild swimmer, co-runs a film club and livestreams (mostly video games) on Twitch.
